The background took me a long time to work out. It was originally going to be more colorful, but that ended up detracting too much from the characters, so I ended up going with something way more subtle.

Its definitely subdued, and disappears a bit on smaller scales. Looks great at 2560x1400 though. Oh, and I just noted the Journeyer scarf says JumpButton. Very cool.

There were a bunch of characters I considered, but I ended up having to choose based on how the image would balance out between the size of characters, as well as keeping the complex characters balanced out with the simpler characters.
