This is absolutely beautiful. I love your attention to detail and modern-world approach to the myth.

Truth be said, this is the best I've seen regarding this particular theme... and yes, I don't think ~AnayaBladewind is exaggerating. On the contrary, the effect is pretty close to the painter's mastery of shadow and light. JMHO.

Your welcome, but work deserves so much more than "my lovely comment". It's breathtaking and extremely well executed.
Deserves a DD and more exposure. I'm unable to "feature" anything, but if I could, I would. Don't you ever underestimate your talent. Not even for "humility's sake...

Entirely brilliant and beautiful--gives me something to aspire to. I giggled with glee when I caught sight of the TARDIS, too...

This is really stunning. The modesty of the statue is quite charming (how she's covering herself and reaching out at the same time). The fade of the flesh and stone seems like it's feathering away gradually, and not Bam! she's alive.
The detail on the background is suitably showing his obsession, and is that a TARDIS on the shelf? I also like that Art Deco Lamp!

Having just (well July 2009) written a short story inspired by Pygmalion, I have to say that I love the theme. But more than that, the sculptor's defeated pose -- how he does not see his masterpiece reach out to him -- is wonderful. Also, great details and work on the shadows.
