The painting looks great. Amazing details. One thing, I thought the box shes holding looks slightly out of perspective. It gives me a feeling that the perspective is a little wrong.

Ah, now that I've seen the bigger version of it I know what it is. The eyes of the woman look in the direction left of the box not at the box. That's what makes it so awkward.

I much prefer coloured or medium toned backgrounds rather than white so I can start more quickly and see highlights more effectively. sometimes the same colour, sometimes a complimentary one
