You don't have to be spiritual to know there's darkness in this world, and it comes in many forms. But there are also those who oppose them, who are willing to fight for what is good and right. Even when facing insurmountable odds they keep their moral compass true north and push on.
This one was done with gritty brushes like the pastel, charcoal and gouache. I wanted the brushwork to match the subject matter as well.
