To continue with my Post-Halloween celebration, I'm starting a series of pieces of fan art for a live-action adaptation of the popular anime and manga series "Hellsing". As a fan of the series, I can't say I'd be excited for a live action film, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't do my best to see it in theaters. Honestly, of all the animes that exist, I think Hellsing is probably one of the better ones to adapt, mostly for the elements of the series. By now, audience members are used to vampires, excessive gun violence and films with large scale wars. With the right writers, director and cast, I think a film trilogy would work out very well. I think the story is too large to tell in one film, so I think a trilogy is the best way to go. Now, you see that I included the character Incognito, who wasn't in the original manga or OVA series. I'm not going to start some Hellsing vs. Hellsing Ultimate debate, as I like both, but acknowledge they're not without their flaws. I just think that, as a nod to the original series, Incognito should be included, but only in the first film. Even there, he's not the central antagonist, he's just serving Millennium with Luke and Jan Valentine. So, yes, he is part of the trilogy of posters and covers I've come up with. Keep in mind this is just my idea on how a film trilogy should go, not how it may go if it gets made. Truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised if it does happen one day. Also, if anyone has any questions about the cast, feel free to ask and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.
