Looks great!  You have given a new lease on life to an iconic design

I remember your design work from the JOAT. I hope I don't have to say that your work is very good, but I'll say it anyways. Love your work, and your use of color.

U-shaped primary hull? In any case, love the design!

Thank you! I'm still working out kinks (10 years later) on the hull contours, which is challenging in 2-d. If you look at louielikespie's Sceince Vessel color an plateing rework (not the same, but similar) you get an idea of how the hull looks.

This is good and a lot cleaner than the last one!

This looks like Sceince Vessel color an plateing rework  by louielikespie  and is one of my favorite science vessel designs.  Any relation?

I think the separated pod is an improvement; it looks too crowded otherwise.  I just always wondered how they got from one section to the other.

Thank you... actually I was unaware of the louielikespie piece until just now. based on the plating on that one, it seems to me one has built upon the other. All I can say is that this design, the Ignatius, and the future enterprise I did are ancient by this point... 2001-2005. I like his science vessel a lot. gotta fav it.

Other way around, then!  They're way too similar to be coincidence.  He has his sketchup work up on the 3D warehouse.  I suggest giving it a look.  (and, he used the same back end of the saucer in one of his new trek designs as on your new enterprise.)

But, I think something like this would have been a better idea than the Nova class that they used in VOY.  The lines and curves in your ship are all well thought out.  I know that they wanted the crew of that ship to be a little bit evil, but the ship didn't have to reflect that.
