Thanks! Yeah, for Tom's likeness I worked directly off a production still that I was given, since it was the perfect angle. For the rest of the characters I pieced the faces together from multiple sources. I didn't actually have any clear images of the skitter, most of what I had was concept art...so I had to do a little guess work. At the time, the show wasn't out yet and the studio was keeping a tight lid on the appearance of the skitters.

Yup there's a comic. The trade for the first miniseries came out more than a year ago. The second story has only been released in a digital format by Dark Horse, so far. Both stories fill in information that wasn't seen in the show.

Thanks! I probably won't be doing anymore Falling Skies pieces unless Dark Horse needed another cover. I just wish I had had better reference for the skitters (their final design was being kept pretty secret), the one I did is pretty close but missed the target a little.
