I originally thought this was a throw-away shot but then I remembered the magic of shooting in RAW. With a few white balance adjustments and some dynamic tonic I was able to turn a mostly red, washed-out image into something magical!Taken on Mothers' Day 2011, it rained so I put a plastic bag over my camera body!

I think i'll make it using apperture f.10/f.11 to focus all the area... well, that's taste...
anyway, that's a really nice photo!

Yeah I usually would have increased the aperture but it was cloudy that day and windy so the roses were moving slightly. If I put the aperture up to 10 I would have had to tune down the shutter speed a bit and it probably would have gotten blurry.
