I've been watching the 80's Ghostbusters cartoon, and Danny Phatnom. Safe to say how this came about. Sometimes I do this just to prove to myself I can do Danny Phantom style.Related content

(Ghostbusters stare at Danny uncertanly, Ray sweatdropping)
Venkman: "Egon, I'm telling you now, I am NOT dissecting a kid, no matter how ghostly he might be."
Egon: "I'm kind of turned off the prospect myself now, to be honest."

Teenaged Acacia Vampire:*young Romanian accent.Jennifer Hale
voices her in my mind.**Sees the Ghostbusters hurting her buddy
suddenly becomes enraged shrieks at the top off her lungs as she
flies right at them.Lifting the Ghostbusters off the ground and
turned their PKA packs off with her telekinetic ability and flings
them,yelling through the air.*TAKE THAT,SMUCITURA^S!!*And
they land on the ground.She goes over to Danny when she hears
him groan on the ground.*Danny?!*Holding his head up when she
kneeled down to his level.*Are you alright?*Her voice filled with
concern.*
Danny Phantom:*Looked up to her and groans.*I'll
be*cough*alright don't*Big cough*worry about me,Acacia.
Teenaged Acacia Vampire:*Alarmed*Your sore,Danny, let me carry
you.*
Danny Phantom:*Decided to take her up on her offer after trying to
get up himself,he took some nasty bruises to the chest .*O..kay.
Teenaged Acacia Vampire:*Lifts him up in her arms and flies
away.*Don't worry,Danny.My mother will heal you.
As they fly away, the Ghostbusters were intrigued to find out this
ghost 'menace' has,what they perceive Acacia to be, a vampire
girlfriend and our now storming up a big plan that they would
unknowingly put two innocent halfa teenagers at risk!Β

this picture is amazing and I just want to know who would win in a fight, ghostbusters or danny phantom.
it because a friend of mine keep saying that danny phantom is invincible because he can become intangible, and I think that despite the intangibility, danny can be beaten and one of the few is the ghost busters and maybe luigi from luigi's mansion.
what do you think? And I do not want to offend anyone I just want an open opinion from someone that know this type of stuff.

i also agree, Danny does have some weakness despite that fact that he can become intangible. that friend of mine just keep saying that Danny can goes as far as beating God and Goku only because he defeated Zeus and Ares in one episode I think, that what she told me.
So my final question is in your opinion, can the Ghost Busters bet Danny Phantom?
I think the Ghost Busters can win, but that's just my opinion and I would gladly accept yours.
To be honest, I only seen the first season and maybe season 2 of the series but not the much newer ones much. even though i haven't seen so much of the series, I still think Danny does have flaws and is not improbable to beat, but it would be hard.

In context, the Ghostbusters have no equipment if Danny decides to go human. We don't know if the trap even works on half-as. Its safe to assume it would.Β
I think its more possible that the two would team up at the end of the episode and take down a bigger villian.

i totally agree, and i literally forgot the fact about the human state if danny, if the trap works like a pokeball or can also trap humans, than there's a chance that it may capture danny, but if not, than it may be difficult to catch the ghost boy at the same time difficult for danny to really beat up the ghost busters and he might rely on stealth and common sense.
I for sure agree that in the end they would team up together because they do have the same purpose of capturing ghosts and they're both good guys.

If the principals of the Ghost Thermos work around the same as the Ghost rap, it is theoretically possible that Danny, in his Danny Phantom persona, can be captured. (He HAS been caught before) As for his intangibility, Ray does have those goggles that can see things normally hidden, and the PKE Meter wuld also be able to narrow his location.

Ghostbusters are awesome, and I luff dem, but heeellllLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOooooo! This is Danny Phantom we're talking about here! First off, Danny is waaayy too awesome to be defeated by anyone permanently. Yeah, they might beat him once, but then he'd come back and kick butt. Anyway, I bet he'd find a way to reason with them. They have a common goal - hunt all the evil ghosts. They could even become... uh... allies, or something.
