Description
On a beautiful evening in the house of the two doggie friends lived, Brian was sitting on the couch, watching TV while Snoopy is away, he's been practicing for a tennis tournament that he's taking part of, he trains and practices very hard so that he can be his best, while Brian sits at home, watching over the place when he's away.

"I wonder how he's training is going?", Brian thought as he looked out the window, "I betcha he'll be ready for it", he continued as the door opened as Snoopy came in, "Hey Snoopy, how was practice?", Brian asked as Snoopy gave him an ok sign, "That's good, go get you cleaned up, I'll make us some dinner", Brian said as Snoopy nodded as he headed to the bathroom and took a bath as Brian made dinner, afterwards, they both had dinner and watched a little TV, "So remind me again when does the tournament start", Brian asked as Snoopy gave him the flyer as it starts at noon, "Well, I think you'll do great little buddy", Brian said as they both smiled and hugged each other, then Snoopy began to yawn as he was getting tired, "Well, I think we should both get to bed, we need it for your big day", Brian said as Snoopy nodded as they headed upstairs.

After several minutes, Snoopy was wearing his pink nightcap as he was doing a bedtime prayer, hoping that he'd do well tomorrow, after he finished, he climbed into bed and held his teddy bear that Brian gave him as he then slowly went to sleep as he began to snore, meanwhile, Brian was in his bedroom, in his red pajamas and nightcap and was in bed reading a book by candlelight as he wasn't tired yet, "I sure hope Snoopy wins the tournament tomorrow, I know he can do it", Brian thought as he read, "And who knows, maybe he'll sweep through the competition", Brian continued as he then let out a yawn as he blew the candle out and put his book down after placing a bookmark on it, then he slowly fell asleep and began to snore loud.

Morning dawned as Snoopy was the first to wake up, thanks to his alarm clock, he first went to the bathroom to brush his teeth, shortly after, Brian woke up as he loudly yawned as his pajamas and cap was very wrinkled, "Morning Snoopy, are you ready for the tennis tournament?", Brian drowsily asked as Snoopy nodded as Brian brushed his teeth and both headed downstairs, "Well, let's have some breakfast and then we'll get ready", Brian said drowsily as he and Snoopy had some breakfast, afterwards, they got out of their pj's and got out the door as Brian carried some food and drinks, "Let's go Snoopy, you have a tournament to win", Brian said as Snoopy nodded as he got his gear and they both headed to the tennis court.

Several hours later, Snoopy had made it into the finals as he was getting prepped up for the final game, "Alright Snoopy, you're doing great, show them what you're made of", Brian said as Snoopy nodded as Brian hugged him for good luck, "I'll be rooting for you little buddy, good luck", Brian said as Snoopy smiled as he headed to the court as Brian sat on the bleachers as the final game began, Snoopy played with all of his might, gave all that he could, but his opponent was just too fast and too good, it was a surprise to both Snoopy and Brian, but Brian didn't stop rooting for him, but in the end, the opponent won as Snoopy felt a bit upset as Brian frowned, "Aw man, poor Snoopy", Brian thought as he came to him as Snoopy looked down and frowned, "I'm sorry Snoopy, I know how much you wanted to win", Brian said as he places his hand on Snoopy's shoulder, "Come on, let's just go home", Brian said as Snoopy nodded as they then headed home.

Several hours later, Night had fallen as in the home, Brian just got out of the bathroom, dressed in his red pajamas, nightcap and slippers on his feet and let out a soft yawn as he was getting quite sleepy, but just before he went to his room, he saw Snoopy's bedroom door cracked open as Brian looked and saw Snoopy still feeling down as he was sitting on his bed, Brian frowned as he hated seeing Snoopy like this, "Poor little guy, I hate to see him like this", Brian thought as he sighed, "I'm gonna see if I can cheer him up", Brian thought as he knocked on the door and came in, "Hey Snoopy, mind if I come in?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded while Brian came and sat next to him, "Still feeling bad huh?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded and sighed, "Aww, come here little buddy", Brian said as he patted his lap as Snoopy sat on his lap as Brian put his arm around him, "I know you're still upset for not winning, but you're no loser Snoopy, to me, you're a winner", Brian said as Snoopy looked at him, "And you'll always be a winner in my book Snoopy, after all you've done for me, you'll always be a winner, cause of you're generosity and kindness", Brian continued as Snoopy smiled as they hugged each other, then Brian let out a yawn as he was getting more sleepy, "Would you like me to sleep in your bed with you tonight Snoopy?", Brian asked drowsily as Snoopy nodded while he put his pink nightcap on as Brian layed down on bed as Snoopy tucked themselves in, "Would you like a lullaby Snoopy?", Brian drowsily asked as Snoopy nodded as he snuggled on him as Brian sang him a lullaby, as he sang, he yawned during the verse, after he slowly finished while yawning, he then fell asleep and snored loudly as Snoopy smiled and hugged him while he slept, he then yawned himself and he fell asleep with him and snored as he felt better knowing his best friend will always be proud of him no matter what.
