It was a nice, sunny and cold day in the home where the two dogs lived, and on this wonderful day, Brian was in the bathroom and was drying himself off while humming a tune after he had a relaxing warm bath as he then sniffed under his arm and sighed happily, "Ah, that's just what I needed, now I won't smell bad", Brian thought as he continued drying off, while he dried off, Snoopy was in his room as he was packing a few things in his bag as he is spending a day with his neighbor Mordecai as he wanted to do so for a while, with his bag all packed, he then headed out of his room as he saw Brian coming out of the bathroom while putting his collar on, "Hey little buddy, about to head over next door?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded with a smile as he smiled back, "Well, I hope you have a great time over there, I know he'll make you feel right at home there", Brian said as he and Snoopy headed downstairs together, "And if you ever need me, just give me a call and I'll be right over", Brian continued as Snoopy smiled and nodded, then Snoopy whispered a favor, which was if Brian could watch over Woodstock while he was away, "Don't worry, I'll watch over Woodstock, I promise, me and Jerry will keep him company", Brian said as Snoopy smiled as they gave each other a big hug, "Now you go and have fun, you don't wanna keep our neighbor waiting", Brian said as Snoopy nodded with a smile as he headed out the door as Brian stood as they waved to each other as Snoopy headed across the road to Mordecai's place, "I know Snoopy will be fine with Mordecai, I trust him very much", Brian thought as Jerry then came and jumped to Brian's shoulder as Brian saw him, "Well hey there Jerry, how about we go make us some lunch", Brian mentioned as Jerry nodded as he and Brian heard Jerry's tummy rumble as Brian chuckled as they headed back inside their home.

Meanwhile, in Mordecai's place, Mordecai had just finished getting his house ready for Snoopy's arrival as he felt happy that his new friend was wanting to spend a day with him, "There, now everything is ready for Snoopy to come", Mordecai thought as he sighed happily, "I'm really happy that the little dude wants to be with me, Brian was right about him, he's a very thoughtful guy", Mordecai thought as he heard his doorbell rang as he headed towards the door, as he opened the door, he saw Snoopy as Snoopy waved happily as Mordecai smiled, "Hey there little dude, come in, make yourself right at home", Mordecai said as Snoopy came in and gave Mordecai a big hug as he hugged him back, "I'm very glad that you got to spend the day with me little dude, I'll make sure we'll have a great time together", Mordecai said as Snoopy smiled as he placed his bag on the couch as they take a seat on the couch, "How about we play some video games together", Mordecai mentioned as Snoopy nodded happily as Mordecai smiled as they then began to play games together.

After an hour or two, Mordecai and Snoopy was in the art room as they was both painting pictures together, Mordecai was doing some Abstract art while Snoopy was painting his own pictures, he had already finished one, which was something for Brian, the other was for Mordecai to enjoy along with the other painting that Snoopy made him for Christmas in which Mordecai still had it hung on his living room wall, "So little dude, how's your painting going?", Mordecai asked as Snoopy gave him a thumbs up as Mordecai knew it was going well, "I can't wait to see what you have in mind, after that painting you made for Brian, it makes me wonder what else you got planned", Mordecai said as Snoopy gave him a wink, after a bit, Mordecai had taken a break from his painting as Snoopy was now finished with his painting, "You all done little dude?", Mordecai asked as Snoopy nodded as he let Mordecai see it as he done so, in the painting, it had him and Snoopy together with a heart at the background as they both have their arms around each other with the words "My Best Friend Mordecai" on top, this made Mordecai felt touched, "You think I'm your best friend little dude?", Mordecai asked with a smile as Snoopy nodded as Mordecai then gave Snoopy a hug as he loved the painting, "You know, I know just a place for this, come on", Mordecai said as they both headed downstairs as they got to the living room as Mordecai then placed the painting next to the other painting Snoopy made as Snoopy smiled, "There, these paintings you made will never leave my sight", Mordecai said as Snoopy smiled as Mordecai kneeled down to place his hand on Snoopy's Shoulder, "That's the nicest thing anyone has done for me, thank you so much little dude", Mordecai said as Snoopy smiled and patted Mordecai's shoulder as they then hugged each other again.

Meanwhile, back at Snoopy and Brian's house in the evening, Brian and Jerry was making dinner while both was wearing an apron and chiefs hat as they both whistled a tune together while Brian was tapping his foot as they cooked, "Ah, our dinner smells wonderful, doesn't it little fella?", Brian asked as Jerry happily nodded as Brian smiled, then after a bit, they both finished as they wiped the sweat off their heads, "Phew, all done, I'm sure Woodstock will enjoy this, I know he already misses Snoopy", Brian said as Jerry nodded as they both got the table ready as Jerry whistled for Woodstock as he flew down to the table, "There you are Woodstock, we was worried about you little fella", Brian mentioned as they all took a seat as Brian and Jerry took their aprons and hats off, "I know you miss Snoopy already, but he'll be back tomorrow, I promise", Brian said as Woodstock nodded, "So no need to be sad, me and Jerry are here with you if you ever need us", Brian continued as Woodstock then smiled as Brian and Jerry smiled too as they then began eating their dinner as they enjoyed it.

Back at Mordecai's place, Snoopy was in the kitchen as he was making him and Mordecai some dinner as Mordecai sat on his couch and watched TV as he would look and see Snoopy fixing dinner all by his self, "Snoopy's one great friend, he's fixing us dinner all by his self, and he doesn't need any help, he sure is one great and talented cook", Mordecai thought as he sighed happily, "I think he and Brian are such great friends, they helped me and made me feel right at home, they deserve so much for what they did for me", Mordecai thought as Snoopy then came to Mordecai and tapped his shoulder as a way to tell Mordecai that dinner is ready as Mordecai nodded, "Ok Snoopy, I cannot wait to see what you fixed up", Mordecai said as he and Snoopy headed to the kitchen as Snoopy pulled a chair out for Mordecai as he helped him take a seat as he then served dinner, which was homemade pizza that Snoopy had made as Mordecai was surprised, "Wow little dude, you made that by yourself?", Mordecai said as Snoopy nodded happily as he cut some slices for them both as they each got their slices as Mordecai began eating as he then enjoyed it, "Oh wow Snoopy, this is delicious", Mordecai said happily as Snoopy smiled with a chuckle as they ate their dinner, after a bit, Mordecai had a couple slices left as he was already full as Snoopy was all finished, "Boy that was delicious little dude, I'm gonna save the rest for later", Mordecai said as he wrapped the slices in foil and placed them in his fridge, then they headed to the living room to watch TV together, "Thanks for the awesome dinner little dude, that was the best homemade pizza I've ever had", Mordecai said as he and Snoopy sat down on the couch while Snoopy smiled and patted Mordecai's shoulder as they watched TV together with their arms around them and Snoopy leaning on Mordecai.

Night then fell as back at Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian was in his bedroom and was sitting on his comfy armchair near the window with Jerry sitting on his shoulder as Brian was dressed in his red pajamas and red nightcap as Jerry was dressed in the same red pajamas and red nightcap like Brian only in Jerry's size as they was reading a book together as they enjoyed some peace and quiet, "Ah, isn't this nice Jerry, enjoying some peace and quiet and enjoying a good book", Brian said softly as Jerry nodded, "And may I say you look real cute in those pj's I made you", Brian said with a smile as he gently tickled Jerry's tummy for a bit as Jerry giggled as Brian chuckled, then a knock was heard as Woodstock came in with his pink nightcap on as he couldn't sleep, "Hey Woodstock, is there something wrong pal?", Brian asked as Woodstock chirped as Brian understood that he cannot sleep, "Aww, you can't sleep?", Brian asked as Woodstock nodded as Brian and Jerry frowned, "I'm sorry Woodstock, we both know how much you miss Snoopy, I didn't know that it'd make you not sleep without your friend", Brian said as he held Woodstock on his finger, Brian then began to have an idea, "Hey, I got an idea, let's go to the living room, I got a way to help you sleep", Brian said as he got up and put his slippers on his feet as he headed downstairs to the living room once there, Brian put Jerry and Woodstock down on the couch as he then headed to the bookshelf to get a book to read a bedtime story, "How about I read a bedtime story to help you sleep?", Brian asked as he then grabbed a book and came and sat on the couch, Woodstock and Jerry then wanted Brian to lie down as Brian smiled as he did lie down on the couch as they both sat on Brian's tummy as Brian then began reading the story aloud as both Woodstock and Jerry listened to him read, as he read, Woodstock was beginning to get a little sleepy while listening, however, Brian was beginning to sound drowsy as he was starting to get sleepy himself as he would quietly let out a yawn every once in a while, then Brian began to drowsily mumble the story as he then let out a loud yawn as the book fell on the floor as Brian began snoring very loudly as Jerry and Woodstock saw him asleep as Jerry giggled as they then got him comfy as they first took Brian's slippers off his feet, grabbed a red blanket, placed it on him and tucked him in and carefully placed a pillow on Brian's head so he can get comfy as Brian let out a yawn in his sleep as he continued to snore very loudly, then both Jerry and Woodstock yawned as they lied down on Brian's tummy and went to sleep with him as they snored with Brian with him snoring much louder then them.

Meanwhile in Mordecai's place, Snoopy was in Mordecai's room and was sitting on his bed as Mordecai was in the bathroom, taking a shower as he heard him whistling a tune as Snoopy had his pink nightcap in hand and put it on as he gets himself ready for bed, then after a bit, Mordecai came in as he was dressed in his white nightgown pajamas with his white nightcap in hand as he then sat next to Snoopy, "All ready for bed huh little dude?", Mordecai asked as Snoopy nodded as Mordecai put his nightcap on as he smiled, "Well I am too little dude", Mordecai said as he and Snoopy chuckled as they then lied down on Mordecai's bed as Snoopy was close to Mordecai as he placed a blanket on them both, "So Snoopy, did you have a great time with me little dude?", Mordecai asked as Snoopy nodded as Mordecai smiled, "I'm glad, I'm really happy we spend the day together little dude", Mordecai said as Snoopy smiled and snuggled on Mordecai as he was surprised at first but he smiled as he enjoyed it, "I'm guessing this is what you do to Brian a lot night, and he enjoys it", Mordecai said with a smile as Snoopy nodded, "Well, I'm sure you like to be petted", Mordecai mentioned as Snoopy nodded happily as Mordecai chuckled and petted Snoopy gently, as he did so, Mordecai's eyes started to get heavy as he was started to get sleepy, "You know Snoopy, I think you're a real friend little dude", Mordecai said as he started to sound drowsy as he then petted Snoopy slowly and sleepily, "A...real...............friend..........", Mordecai said sleepily while yawning as Snoopy then heard loud snoring from Mordecai as he looked and saw him fast asleep as Snoopy smiled and gave him a goodnight hug as he slept as then he then yawned as Mordecai's snoring made him sleepy as he then snuggled closer on Mordecai as he fell asleep with him and snored with Mordecai as they slept peacefully.

Morning had then rose as in Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian, Jerry and Woodstock was still asleep and snoring on the couch with Brian snoring much much louder and weirdly now as his foot and arm drooped down and rested on the floor as Woodstock and Jerry was snuggled on Brian's tummy as they slept, then Jerry let out a snort as he then slowly woke up as he sat up and then quietly yawned while he stretched and rubbed the sleepiness out of his eyes as Woodstock woke up afterward as Jerry smiled as he and Woodstock heard Brian talk in his sleep while still snoring so much loudly as they quietly giggle while they carefully got up and headed to the kitchen to fix breakfast, as they did so, they then heard the very loud snort then a very loud yawn from Brian as they saw him waking up while stretching and scratching his tummy, feet and under his arms and his cap very wrinkled as then slowly got up and walked to the kitchen to see Jerry and Woodstock fix breakfast, "Good morning you two, I see you're both well rested", Brian said as he yawned again while stretching as Jerry and Woodstock smiled, Brian then helped them fix breakfast, in which they all had a bowl of cereal as Brian had a cup of coffee as they enjoyed their breakfast while they watched morning TV.

Back at Mordecai's house, Mordecai was still asleep in his bed and snored much louder and his cap wrinkled as he had his arm raised and rested on his pillow while Snoopy was away to the other room, then after a bit, Mordecai let out a snort as he slowly began to wake up as he slowly sat up and let out a loud yawn while stretching and scratching under his arms, "Man did I sleep well", Mordecai drowsily said while yawning, "I wonder if the little dude slept well....speaking of which, where is he?", Mordecai drowsily wondering as he then smelled something nice downstairs, "And what smells really good?", Mordecai drowsily asked as then Snoopy came in while still wearing his pink nightcap as he has a tray of breakfast in hand as he served it to Mordecai, "Aww little dude, are you serving me breakfast in bed?", Mordecai drowsily asked as Snoopy nodded and sat closely next to Mordecai in his bed as Mordecai smiled, "Well that's very thoughtful of you little dude", Mordecai drowsily said as he gently rubbed Snoopy's head as they then began to eat their breakfast, "Snoopy did all that for me, he's one awesome little dude", Mordecai thought as he enjoyed his breakfast, "I'm very happy he and I got to spend the day together", Mordecai thought with a smile as he and Snoopy continued to enjoy their breakfast.

A few hours later at Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian was sitting on his armchair as he was only in hs red pajamas with his red nightcap off as he decided to take it easy and relax and watched TV, "I wonder if Snoopy had a great time with Mordecai", Brian thought as he watched TV, then the door opened as Brian saw Snoopy coming in with happiness as Brian smiled, "Well hi there little buddy, come over here!", Brian said happily while opening his arms as they gave each other a big hug as they chuckled, "It's great you're back home little buddy, did you have a great time with Mordecai?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded happily as Mordecai came in and Brian smiled, "That's great little buddy, how about you go get unpacked, I'm sure Woodstock be glad to see you back", Brian said with a smile as Snoopy nodded as he ran upstairs as Brian came to Mordecai, "Did Snoopy had a great time with you Mordecai?", Brian asked as Mordecai nodded with a smile, "That little dude was really nice to be with, he was just like you said he was", Mordecai replied as Brian smiled, "That's great, I knew he'd had fun with you Mordecai", Brian said as Mordecai nodded, "You know, I really want to thank you for letting him stay with you for the day Mordecai, I trusted that you'd let him feel right at home with you", Brian continued as Mordecai smiled, "Thanks Brian, it's the least I can do after all you two done for me lately", Mordecai said as Brian smiled, "Hey, we're more then friends here, we're family too, and honestly, I'm really glad that you're a part of our lives Mordecai", Brian said as that made Mordecai felt touched, "I think the same way too Brian", Mordecai replied while getting on his knees as they then hugged each other real closely, "You're always welcome in our house Mordecai, you'll always be a part of our family", Brian mentioned while they hugged, "The same with you Brian, thank you for everything", Mordecai said as tears of joy was shedding in his eyes, then after a bit, they broke up the hug as Mordecai then began to head back to his house, "I'll see you soon Brian, take care", Mordecai said as Brian smiled, "Same to you Mordecai", Brian said as Mordecai then left back to his house as Brian felt really happy as he was really glad that Mordecai was a great friend to not only him but to Snoopy as well.

Later that night in Mordecai's place, Mordecai was sitting on the couch while wearing his nightcap and slippers on his feet as he is watching TV before bed as he relaxed with arms behind his head, "I think moving in this neighborhood was the best decision I've ever made", Mordecai said as looked at the paintings Snoopy made for Mordecai, "It was really nice of the little dude to spend time with me, it really made me feel really nice with a friend that done a lot for me", he continued as he then remembered what Brian said to him, "And it was very nice of Brian to say all that to me, especially when he said that I was part of their family", he continued as tears of joy formed in his eyes again as it made him feel both special and touched, "They're the best friends I could ever ask for, and I'm.......", Mordecai then began to cry of joy as he remembered the kindness that Snoopy and Brian had given him lately, ".....I'm lucky to have friends like them", Mordecai then finished as he then slowly calmed down and wiped the tears off his face, then after a bit, he then let out a yawn while he headed up to his bedroom as he was going to bed, once there, the sound of him loudly snoring was then heard as he had fallen fast asleep in his bed.

Back at Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian was in his room as he was still in his red pajamas as he was getting his bed ready as he then sat on his bed as a knock was then heard as Snoopy came in with his pink nightcap on and had something behind his back as Brian smiled, "There you are little buddy, come to see me like you always love to do?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded as Brian noticed Snoopy hiding something, "Hey, what's that you got behind you?", Brian asked with a wink as Snoopy sat next to him and nodded, "Could it be for me?", Brian asked with a smile as Snoopy nodded with a smile as he then gave it to him as Brian looked and saw it was a painting that Snoopy did for Brian as it had him and Brian hugging with hearts in the background as the words "I love my best friend Brian" on top, this made Brian felt touched and he smiled warmly, "Aww, you made this for me Snoopy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded as they gave each other a big hug, "Thank you Snoopy, and I love you too Snoopy", Brian said as Snoopy smiled warmly, "And you know, I'm gonna hang this up on the wall right now", Brian said as he got up as he then managed to put the painting up above his bed as Snoopy smiled, "There we go, now we'll see how much we mean to each other", Brian said with a smile as Snoopy wagged his tail, then Snoopy let out a yawn as Brian noticed, "Are you sleepy little buddy?", Brian asked as Snoopy sleepily nodded, "Well let's go to bed, it's already past bedtime anyway", Brian said with a smile as Snoopy then got himself into Brian's bed as Brian did the same as Snoopy handed Brian his red nightcap as Brian smiled and put it on as Snoopy snuggled on Brian's tummy, "Would you like a lullaby Snoopy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded after Brian turned the lights off as he then began singing a lullaby to Snoopy, as he sang, Snoopy would get sleepier as he sang as then Brian was getting sleepy himself as he would let out a yawn after each verse, then at the end, Brian would then slowly and drowsily finish as he would let out one last yawn as he fell fast asleep and began to snore very loudly as Snoopy would snore just as loud and snores like Brian does as all was back to normal in the neighborhood, only this time, the bond with a new neighbor had gotten stronger then ever before.

Night then fell as back at Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian was in his bedroom and was sitting on his comfy armchair near the window with Jerry sitting on his shoulder as Brian was dressed in his red pajamas and red nightcap as Jerry was dressed in the same red pajamas and red nightcap like Brian only in Jerry's size as they was reading a book together as they enjoyed some peace and quiet, "Ah, isn't this nice Jerry, enjoying some peace and quiet and enjoying a good book", Brian said softly as Jerry nodded, "And may I say you look real cute in those pj's I made you", Brian said with a smile as he gently tickled Jerry's tummy for a bit as Jerry giggled as Brian chuckled, then a knock was heard as Woodstock came in with his pink nightcap on as he couldn't sleep, "Hey Woodstock, is there something wrong pal?", Brian asked as Woodstock chirped as Brian understood that he cannot sleep, "Aww, you can't sleep?", Brian asked as Woodstock nodded as Brian and Jerry frowned, "I'm sorry Woodstock, we both know how much you miss Snoopy, I didn't know that it'd make you not sleep without your friend", Brian said as he held Woodstock on his finger, Brian then began to have an idea, "Hey, I got an idea, let's go to the living room, I got a way to help you sleep", Brian said as he got up and put his slippers on his feet as he headed downstairs to the living room once there, Brian put Jerry and Woodstock down on the couch as he then headed to the bookshelf to get a book to read a bedtime story, "How about I read a bedtime story to help you sleep?", Brian asked as he then grabbed a book and came and sat on the couch, Woodstock and Jerry then wanted Brian to lie down as Brian smiled as he did lie down on the couch as they both sat on Brian's tummy as Brian then began reading the story aloud as both Woodstock and Jerry listened to him read, as he read, Woodstock was beginning to get a little sleepy while listening, however, Brian was beginning to sound drowsy as he was starting to get sleepy himself as he would quietly let out a yawn every once in a while, then Brian began to drowsily mumble the story as he then let out a loud yawn as the book fell on the floor as Brian began snoring very loudly as Jerry and Woodstock saw him asleep as Jerry giggled as they then got him comfy as they first took Brian's slippers off his feet, grabbed a red blanket, placed it on him and tucked him in and carefully placed a pillow on Brian's head so he can get comfy as Brian let out a yawn in his sleep as he continued to snore very loudly, then both Jerry and Woodstock yawned as they lied down on Brian's tummy and went to sleep with him as they snored with Brian with him snoring much louder then them.

Meanwhile in Mordecai's place, Snoopy was in Mordecai's room and was sitting on his bed as Mordecai was in the bathroom, taking a shower as he heard him whistling a tune as Snoopy had his pink nightcap in hand and put it on as he gets himself ready for bed, then after a bit, Mordecai came in as he was dressed in his white nightgown pajamas with his white nightcap in hand as he then sat next to Snoopy, "All ready for bed huh little dude?", Mordecai asked as Snoopy nodded as Mordecai put his nightcap on as he smiled, "Well I am too little dude", Mordecai said as he and Snoopy chuckled as they then lied down on Mordecai's bed as Snoopy was close to Mordecai as he placed a blanket on them both, "So Snoopy, did you have a great time with me little dude?", Mordecai asked as Snoopy nodded as Mordecai smiled, "I'm glad, I'm really happy we spend the day together little dude", Mordecai said as Snoopy smiled and snuggled on Mordecai as he was surprised at first but he smiled as he enjoyed it, "I'm guessing this is what you do to Brian a lot night, and he enjoys it", Mordecai said with a smile as Snoopy nodded, "Well, I'm sure you like to be petted", Mordecai mentioned as Snoopy nodded happily as Mordecai chuckled and petted Snoopy gently, as he did so, Mordecai's eyes started to get heavy as he was started to get sleepy, "You know Snoopy, I think you're a real friend little dude", Mordecai said as he started to sound drowsy as he then petted Snoopy slowly and sleepily, "A...real...............friend..........", Mordecai said sleepily while yawning as Snoopy then heard loud snoring from Mordecai as he looked and saw him fast asleep as Snoopy smiled and gave him a goodnight hug as he slept as then he then yawned as Mordecai's snoring made him sleepy as he then snuggled closer on Mordecai as he fell asleep with him and snored with Mordecai as they slept peacefully.

Morning had then rose as in Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian, Jerry and Woodstock was still asleep and snoring on the couch with Brian snoring much much louder and weirdly now as his foot and arm drooped down and rested on the floor as Woodstock and Jerry was snuggled on Brian's tummy as they slept, then Jerry let out a snort as he then slowly woke up as he sat up and then quietly yawned while he stretched and rubbed the sleepiness out of his eyes as Woodstock woke up afterward as Jerry smiled as he and Woodstock heard Brian talk in his sleep while still snoring so much loudly as they quietly giggle while they carefully got up and headed to the kitchen to fix breakfast, as they did so, they then heard the very loud snort then a very loud yawn from Brian as they saw him waking up while stretching and scratching his tummy, feet and under his arms and his cap very wrinkled as then slowly got up and walked to the kitchen to see Jerry and Woodstock fix breakfast, "Good morning you two, I see you're both well rested", Brian said as he yawned again while stretching as Jerry and Woodstock smiled, Brian then helped them fix breakfast, in which they all had a bowl of cereal as Brian had a cup of coffee as they enjoyed their breakfast while they watched morning TV.

Back at Mordecai's house, Mordecai was still asleep in his bed and snored much louder and his cap wrinkled as he had his arm raised and rested on his pillow while Snoopy was away to the other room, then after a bit, Mordecai let out a snort as he slowly began to wake up as he slowly sat up and let out a loud yawn while stretching and scratching under his arms, "Man did I sleep well", Mordecai drowsily said while yawning, "I wonder if the little dude slept well....speaking of which, where is he?", Mordecai drowsily wondering as he then smelled something nice downstairs, "And what smells really good?", Mordecai drowsily asked as then Snoopy came in while still wearing his pink nightcap as he has a tray of breakfast in hand as he served it to Mordecai, "Aww little dude, are you serving me breakfast in bed?", Mordecai drowsily asked as Snoopy nodded and sat closely next to Mordecai in his bed as Mordecai smiled, "Well that's very thoughtful of you little dude", Mordecai drowsily said as he gently rubbed Snoopy's head as they then began to eat their breakfast, "Snoopy did all that for me, he's one awesome little dude", Mordecai thought as he enjoyed his breakfast, "I'm very happy he and I got to spend the day together", Mordecai thought with a smile as he and Snoopy continued to enjoy their breakfast.

A few hours later at Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian was sitting on his armchair as he was only in hs red pajamas with his red nightcap off as he decided to take it easy and relax and watched TV, "I wonder if Snoopy had a great time with Mordecai", Brian thought as he watched TV, then the door opened as Brian saw Snoopy coming in with happiness as Brian smiled, "Well hi there little buddy, come over here!", Brian said happily while opening his arms as they gave each other a big hug as they chuckled, "It's great you're back home little buddy, did you have a great time with Mordecai?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded happily as Mordecai came in and Brian smiled, "That's great little buddy, how about you go get unpacked, I'm sure Woodstock be glad to see you back", Brian said with a smile as Snoopy nodded as he ran upstairs as Brian came to Mordecai, "Did Snoopy had a great time with you Mordecai?", Brian asked as Mordecai nodded with a smile, "That little dude was really nice to be with, he was just like you said he was", Mordecai replied as Brian smiled, "That's great, I knew he'd had fun with you Mordecai", Brian said as Mordecai nodded, "You know, I really want to thank you for letting him stay with you for the day Mordecai, I trusted that you'd let him feel right at home with you", Brian continued as Mordecai smiled, "Thanks Brian, it's the least I can do after all you two done for me lately", Mordecai said as Brian smiled, "Hey, we're more then friends here, we're family too, and honestly, I'm really glad that you're a part of our lives Mordecai", Brian said as that made Mordecai felt touched, "I think the same way too Brian", Mordecai replied while getting on his knees as they then hugged each other real closely, "You're always welcome in our house Mordecai, you'll always be a part of our family", Brian mentioned while they hugged, "The same with you Brian, thank you for everything", Mordecai said as tears of joy was shedding in his eyes, then after a bit, they broke up the hug as Mordecai then began to head back to his house, "I'll see you soon Brian, take care", Mordecai said as Brian smiled, "Same to you Mordecai", Brian said as Mordecai then left back to his house as Brian felt really happy as he was really glad that Mordecai was a great friend to not only him but to Snoopy as well.

Later that night in Mordecai's place, Mordecai was sitting on the couch while wearing his nightcap and slippers on his feet as he is watching TV before bed as he relaxed with arms behind his head, "I think moving in this neighborhood was the best decision I've ever made", Mordecai said as looked at the paintings Snoopy made for Mordecai, "It was really nice of the little dude to spend time with me, it really made me feel really nice with a friend that done a lot for me", he continued as he then remembered what Brian said to him, "And it was very nice of Brian to say all that to me, especially when he said that I was part of their family", he continued as tears of joy formed in his eyes again as it made him feel both special and touched, "They're the best friends I could ever ask for, and I'm.......", Mordecai then began to cry of joy as he remembered the kindness that Snoopy and Brian had given him lately, ".....I'm lucky to have friends like them", Mordecai then finished as he then slowly calmed down and wiped the tears off his face, then after a bit, he then let out a yawn while he headed up to his bedroom as he was going to bed, once there, the sound of him loudly snoring was then heard as he had fallen fast asleep in his bed.

Back at Snoopy and Brian's house, Brian was in his room as he was still in his red pajamas as he was getting his bed ready as he then sat on his bed as a knock was then heard as Snoopy came in with his pink nightcap on and had something behind his back as Brian smiled, "There you are little buddy, come to see me like you always love to do?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded as Brian noticed Snoopy hiding something, "Hey, what's that you got behind you?", Brian asked with a wink as Snoopy sat next to him and nodded, "Could it be for me?", Brian asked with a smile as Snoopy nodded with a smile as he then gave it to him as Brian looked and saw it was a painting that Snoopy did for Brian as it had him and Brian hugging with hearts in the background as the words "I love my best friend Brian" on top, this made Brian felt touched and he smiled warmly, "Aww, you made this for me Snoopy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded as they gave each other a big hug, "Thank you Snoopy, and I love you too Snoopy", Brian said as Snoopy smiled warmly, "And you know, I'm gonna hang this up on the wall right now", Brian said as he got up as he then managed to put the painting up above his bed as Snoopy smiled, "There we go, now we'll see how much we mean to each other", Brian said with a smile as Snoopy wagged his tail, then Snoopy let out a yawn as Brian noticed, "Are you sleepy little buddy?", Brian asked as Snoopy sleepily nodded, "Well let's go to bed, it's already past bedtime anyway", Brian said with a smile as Snoopy then got himself into Brian's bed as Brian did the same as Snoopy handed Brian his red nightcap as Brian smiled and put it on as Snoopy snuggled on Brian's tummy, "Would you like a lullaby Snoopy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded after Brian turned the lights off as he then began singing a lullaby to Snoopy, as he sang, Snoopy would get sleepier as he sang as then Brian was getting sleepy himself as he would let out a yawn after each verse, then at the end, Brian would then slowly and drowsily finish as he would let out one last yawn as he fell fast asleep and began to snore very loudly as Snoopy would snore just as loud and snores like Brian does as all was back to normal in the neighborhood, only this time, the bond with a new neighbor had gotten stronger then ever before.
