On a bright and sunny morning in the house that Snoopy and Brian lives, Brian was in the living room, dressed in red pajamas and red nightcap, sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in hand and watched the news, he then saw the weather report, which was gonna be sunny and not so hot, that lead an idea for Brian, "Hmm, since it's gonna be a nice day, me and little Snoopy should go to the beach today", Brian thought as he smiled, "Snoopy will be in for a big surprise", he thought as he heard Snoopy coming downstairs rubbing his eyes as he just woke up, "Hey little buddy, slept good?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded and yawned, "That's good, I'll go make us some breakfast", Brian said as he headed to the kitchen and made him and Snoopy some breakfast, after breakfast, Brian and Snoopy watched some TV then Brian said, "Hey Snoopy, I got an idea", Snoopy looked at Brian when he heard about the idea, "Well, since today is gonna be a nice day, I figured that you and I should go to the beach today", Brian said as Snoopy smiled and wagged his tail, Brian smiled as he knew it was a great idea, "Well then let's get ourselves ready", Brian said as he and Snoopy both headed upstairs to their rooms to get ready, after a few minutes, Snoopy has his blue swimming trunks and beach hat with sunglasses, he waited for Brian who which came out, wearing red swimming trunks, glasses and comfy sandles on his feet and his collar taken off, "Are you ready Snoopy", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded, Brian then headed to the kitchen and packed some food in a picnic basket and grabbed some beach gear, "Well let's head out to the beach", Brian said happily as Snoopy followed him as they both headed to the beach.

After several minutes, Brian and Snoopy arrived at the beach, once there they've found a perfect spot for them and set up their place, "There we go, all set up", Brian said as Snoopy smiled, then Brian sat on the beach chair and relaxed with his arms behind his head, "Ah, that's much better", Brian said as he was getting himself a tan, Snoopy then headed out to the water to swim, Brian watched as he relaxed, "Have a nice swim little buddy, be careful", Brian said as Snoopy nodded as he swam on the water, Brian then grabbed a book for him to read while he relaxed and began to read the book, which was "To Kill A Mockingbird".

After an hour, Snoopy had finished swimming, the water felt so nice and cool, Snoopy then headed to their spot as Brian kept reading, Snoopy didn't wanna disturb Brian and his reading and decided to make a sand castle, while doing so, Brian looked at Snoopy as he built his sand castle, Brian smiled as he then kept reading his book, after several minutes, Snoopy had finished building his sand castle, which was beautifully done, he took a picture from his cellphone to have proof he made it, afterward, he looked at Brian, who was asleep with the book on the ground and surprisingly wasn't snoring loud, though he was snoring while relaxing and arms behind his head, Snoopy smiled as he then grabbed his surfboard and let Brian nap.

After a couple hours, Brian woke up from his nap and softly yawned and stretched, he picked up his book from the ground and placed a bookmark where he left off and put it in his bag, he then looked around for Snoopy, but was nowhere to be seen, but then he saw him surfing, Brian smiled as he saw Snoopy surf so good, then Snoopy came back to their spot as Brian waited, "Had fun surfing Snoopy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded, "That's good, I'm glad that you're having fun Snoopy", Brian said with a smile as his tummy rumbled as did Snoopy's, "Boy, I'm getting hungry, let's have ourselves a picnic", Brian said as Snoopy nodded, they then made themselves a couple sandwiches and then ate, then after a few minutes, they've finished and Brian patted his tummy, "That was delicious, wasn't it little buddy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded, then Snoopy handed Brian a piece of paper, which said about a surfing contest today as Snoopy entered, Brian smiled as he put his hand on Snoopy's shoulder, "I know you'll do great Snoopy, I believe in you", Brian said as Snoopy smiled and hugged Brian, Brian hugged him back and said, "I'm very lucky to have a friend like you, you're the perfect friend I can ever ask for", Snoopy smiled as Brian looked at him, "You really do mean a lot to me Snoopy, I don't know what I'd be if we'd never met", Brian continued as Snoopy smiled as Brian hugged him again as did Snoopy.

A few hours came as the sun was almost about to set, and the surfing contest was going on, Brian and Snoopy watched the other surfers surfed the waves, after a few finished their surf, it was Snoopy's turn, just before he went, Brian placed his hand on Snoopy's shoulder, "Good luck Snoopy, I'll be rooting for you", Brian said as Snoopy smiled and hugged Brian, Brian hugged Snoopy back as Snoopy headed to the water to surf, with a big wave coming, Snoopy got ready and began surfing, Brian watched as he saw Snoopy do some amazing tricks, tricks that other surfers couldn't do, "That's my friend out there", Brian said to one of the surfers, Snoopy kept doing more amazing tricks as the wave was about to die down, Snoopy then surfed his way back to shore, the crowd including Brian cheered excitingly as the judges was very pleased with his performance and give him a perfect score, declaring him the winner, Brian ran to Snoopy, hugging him and spun around, "You did it Snoopy, congrats!", Brian said excitedly as Snoopy giggled, Snoopy then was offered a big gold trophy that he and Brian held together.

An hour had passed as both Snoopy and Brian then returned back home, "Ah, nice to be back home, isn't it Snoopy", Brian said as he took off his sandles and Snoopy nodded, he and Brian then put the trophy that Snoopy won on the shelf, Brian smiled and looked at the trophy, "You really did do a great job out there Snoopy, I'm proud of you", Brian said as Snoopy nodded, then Brian stretched and softly yawned, "Oh boy, I pretty exhausted after today, I'm gonna go lie down", Brian said as he then headed upstairs, Snoopy was pretty tired too as he to headed upstairs as well.

A few minutes later, Brian then got into his red pajamas and put his wrinkled red nightcap on his head afterward, Brian then got into bed and turned on the lamp, he then grabbed his book that he read today and began reading it, while he read the book, he heard a know on the door, "Come in", Brian said as Snoopy came in, also in a red nightcap that was like Brian's, "Hey there little buddy", Brian said as Snoopy then got into Brian's bed and layed down closely to Brian, "Did you have fun today Snoopy?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded, "I did too Snoopy, in fact, I'm glad that we both get to go to the beach", Brian said as Snoopy nodded and snuggled close to Brian, Brian smiled and petted Snoopy on his head, "Say, how about I read you this book", Brian said as Snoopy nodded, Brian put his arm around Snoopy and began to read aloud the book to Snoopy, after an hour, Brian kept reading the story even though he was beginning getting more and more tired and yawned every once in a while, Snoopy however was already asleep and was snoring, Brian stopped and put the book down on his nightstand and turned off the lamp, "Goodnight Snoopy, I'll see you in the morning little buddy", Brian whispered to Snoopy while he slept, Brian then softly yawned as he then get nestled into bed and then slowly closed his eyes and then fell asleep and began snoring loud, then both Snoopy and Brian both began to dream together about the day they had on the beach, only this time, both Snoopy and Brian surfed together on one surfboard, Brian sighed happily while he slept and snored a bit louder and his arm raised while Snoopy sighed happily in his sleep as well, knowing that their strong friendship will never die.
