Description
In a dark and starry night, in a nice little home, lived a beagle named Snoopy, he was watching tv and was wearing his pink nightcap, as he was enjoying the peaceful night, he heard a scream from upstairs, Snoopy jumped up from the couch and headed to the upstairs bedroom.

The scream came from his best friend and roommate Brian, who had a terrible terrible nightmare, Snoopy then came in and saw Brian in shock and was shaking, "Oh Snoopy, I'm so glad your here, can you sit by me please?", Brian asked as Snoopy sat by Brian on Brian's bed, Brian then hugged him as tears came out of his eyes, "Snoopy, I had a very terrible nightmare, I really don't think I should tell you, it would make you uncomfortable", Brian said as Snoopy patted his shoulder wanting him to tell him, "Ok, but can you get me a glass of water Snoopy?", Briian asked and Snoopy nodded and headed to the kitchen to give Brian a glass of water.

Brian then took a drink of water and took a deep breath, "Ok, it all started with me just walking down the sidewalk, just taking a walk, then I walked the the crosswalk and a car came by and....it......hit me and ran over me", Brian said as he started to cry, Snoopy then patted Brian's shoulder, "Then Peter and the family took me to the vet where....I......died later", Brian said as began to break down sobbing, Snoopy hated to see his buddy be sad like that, but since Snoopy can't talk he could only pat Brian's shoulder and give him a hug, Brian hugged him back as he was still crying, "Snoopy, it was so awful, I didn't want to upset you", Brian said as Snoopy put his finger on Brian's lip and shushed him, Snoopy then wipped the tears off Brian's cheeks and eyes and hugged Brian, Brian then stopped crying and hugged Snoopy back and said, "Snoopy, your so sweet, you know how to cheer me up every day and night", Snoopy smiled as he looked at Brian, "Somehow you are like a little brother to me then a best friend", Brian said as he hugged Snoopy, Snoopy hugged him back and helped Brian lay back down, "Snoopy, will you sleep with me tonight, in case if I have another bad nightmare?", Brian asked as Snoopy nodded and lays down closely next to Brian, "Snoopy, thanks for letting me stay with you, and thanks to giving me this nice room, this bed, this sheets, my comfy red pajamas and cute comfy nightcap, your the best Snoopy", Brian said as he hugged Snoopy, Snoopy hugged him back as Brian turned off the bedside lamp and let out a yawn, Snoopy then yawned as Brian said, "Come on, we should go to sleep", Brian then covered both him and Snoopy up, Snoopy then cuddled on Brian as he smiled, "You know something Snoopy, I know what I needed all my life, all I needed is a nice....caring......friend", Brian said as he began to fall asleep and began to snore loud, Snoopy smiled and he fell asleep and snored too.

Morning came as the two doggies continued to sleep, Brian then woke up and let of a soft yawn as he looked at Snoopy who was still sleeping, Brian smiled and he fell back to sleep, and that nightmare was never mentioned again, nor ever happened again, as long as Snoopy is by Brian's side
