Description
This was just some fooling around with random sketching that turned into a full blown art piece the more I worked on it. Although it looks "Burton-like" my inspiration for this peice was the album art for Chiodos' "Bone Palace Ballet". I sketched my lines in with mechanical pencil, and overlapped them with a .25 Micron. I colored the piece with Copic markers and added a thick edge on the outside (to give it a cartoony look) with a .50 Micron. The piece took a total of 4 and a half hours to draw and color.
