My concept of a Megalon redesign. I wanted to make him more scary and eerie. I wouldn't want to meet this is a dark alley!Drawn with 4B and 5B pencils.

I think it loses a little something in the eyes from the original Megalon, but I really like how you make the horn and shape of the head like a rhinoceros beetle. Great way to implement something from a real world insect on the monster!

I like the more insect-like approach for the face(the original always struck me as bizarrely un-insect) and the general streamlining of features like the horn and antennae.

Fearsome look for Megalon. The back of his head reminds me of a Samurai helmet. I like the mandibles too.
