Very nice work! I'm a big fan of Hamilton - keep reading, you're going to love them! Do the Void trilogy next, it's in the same universe.
I hope he inspires some more awesome pieces like thisΒ from you.

Thanks for the comment. Peter F Hamilton has writtten quite a few books and I have just started reading them - I really did enjoy the 2 books mentioned above, they are long and detailed but worth the effort! Looking forward to reading more of his work.

Yes we like it! It looks very real. Plus it has a sort of artistic feel, kind of like coming home at the end of the day after a busy day flying all around.

Excellent atmosphere created here, I actually thought that was a large alien monolithic structure in the background, Id add some very subtle lighting to suggest this but the scene as a whole is wonderful, I hope to achieve such as this one day myself, cheers

That's a great idea, I might have aslsdo added some window type lights to the structure which may have given that impression too....mmmm....I need to think these things through a bit more...thank you for the suggestion and the kind comments.Β

Very nice mood and lighting. I'd have left the mountain to the left in the background out of the image. I don't think it's really needed. But only my opinion, of course!

Thanks for the comment. I see what you mean, I think I was hoping the big structure in the background would be a point of focus, maybe a destination for the ship, but I hear what you're saying, maybe it doesn't add very much.

Just a thought; by no means a "change it" suggestion!
