Description
here's a rotating version - some colours have picked up a bit of flicker due to all the frames sharing a 256 col palette.click DOWNLOAD to view full-size!
created for a Nintendo DS project.
my aim was to create a curvy, colourful, cartoony pixel art feel with 3D models (3dsMax) - this is a straight render, no pixel tweaks at all!

I've got a basic grounding in 3D, if I wanted to make 3D animated pixel sprites, do you have any advice? Beyond just rendering it at a smaller size?

Nice! Have you seen the new Game Development Art gallery? You should move your stuff there.

Insane attention to detail! I don't have the patience for this kind of meticulous work.

OK... Now I am impressed. That's professional-grade work; no doubt this is how they rendered models at multiple angles in old 2.5D games like Rollercoaster Tycoon, Age of Empires and Red Alert 2.
