Description
I spent the majority of yesterday creating this. spot rendering and tweaking and spot rendering again and re-tweaking.
I made the stairs in Hexagon.
It's might be just me, but there is something about the image. I feel I need to revisit it and re-tweak again.
Please tell me what you think, is it okay as it is or can you see something that's needs revisiting?

I think you need to work on stairs's edges to make them a little rounded. Eyes we dont see the pupil. A relfection in eyes give always more life to 3D characters. Try to add also an other light. There is a strange shadow on left arm

I have a couple mesh lights, one off to the left of the camera and one under the stairs
Β I wanted to try and get the muscle profile of her neck and arms, in shadow.
Yeah, the eyes, I upped the reflection in her eyes too, thinking, because they are so dark
it might allow the reflection of the light more.Β Perhaps I'll swap her eyes out for another pair
that I know have excellent reflection abilities.
Thanks

I dont think the light under stairs are use full. Try 2 lights each side of her body. One strong and the other a little less. And a large white plan behind the camera

I agree with under the stairs light, I've just spot rendered her without it and it already improved it,Β
at the moment it's spot rendering with a ring lightΒ just behind the camera and new eyes in her head.
But I'll also give her a go with your suggestion

It's almost like looking at an Escher painting. I get the sense I'm looking down at her, but the steps are going up. I assume the camera is on a lower step, but it still gives the impression of looking down to me. Beats me on how you'd fix that.

the "not sure what angle is what" look, is what I was going for,
