Very nice illustration! The lighting makes me feel about dusk, maybe just before a sunrise with the imminent attack of that guy with the dragon.
The details of both the castle and the dragon surely must have taken some time.

Oh wow. Quite an impressive piece. There is a bold and somehow ominous atmosphere with the monochrome palette you chose. The dragon himself has excellent anatomy and the castle has a stolid looking architecture - nice and medieval-looking.
The composition and posing I also applaud. Very good work!
