First painting of 2021. This was quite an ambitious and difficult piece for me. I usually dont hand paint all of the scales on my dragons, but I felt this painting needed it, so for several weeks I was in "scale hell" at several points I grew frustrated, and at one point I almost abandoned the entire piece. but I am glad I kept with it.
