Continuing my experiments in Infrared, heres an early evening shot. Is a storm coming?...Nikon Coolpix 4300. Hoya R72 filter. Toned, blurred, border and text added in Photoshop.

The composition is really balanced. You kept the tree on the right while those beautiful clouds and the light fill the left part of the photo. briliiant!

It's a great view you have there.. still the picture got a little blury.. the effect/colour is nearly the same as my birdhouse that you commented, still I like my editing better. I got really good contrast between the sky and the object.
To make this one better? I don't really see how that's possible. It looks really interesting on distance, still it's not the best quality when you look closer at it.
Read above about a "original" so I guess I search for that one too

Was the sky really purple?I've seen purple plants before but not a sky
A part (big) in the middle looks a little lighter from the rest. Was that a mistake?

A simply gorgeous picture. The blurring nicely softens the picture and the gorgeous purple tones help give it a nice lazy late evening feel. The clouds too are awesome with their menacing ominous darkness threatening the serenity in the foreground. Some excellent work indeed. A definite favoureite

your eye for knowing what to aim at is really showing thru. the composition is sharp and filled with areas of interest, i like that. great tone and light work. i wanna see more!

Wow, Steve! Cool border! Sorry, but that's the first thing that I noticed
The type looks really good and the thin white border combined with the thick black outer border work really well together and with the image. As for the shot itself. The colour tone seems to quite fit the shot. And the overall softness of contrast gives this quite a dreamscape like feel. It isn't as sparkling and fresh as on a white base, but definetely a really nice shot. I like it a lot
