This is an image from my film RADIANT (stevevortex.com/feature-film-r… ), still my only feature film as writer AND director. RADIANT is about 4 people accidentally exposed to an experimental, bio-engineered virus, their experiences and how they are changed.

This is NOT a low-quality capture. We experimented for literal years with the quality of the image, captured on an old-school DV camera, hoping for a timeless, artifacted, otherworldly feel. It actually looked beautiful up on a movie theater screen, much better than it looked on our editing monitors!
