I use Ultrafractal , a fractal plotter with photoshop style layers. The algorithm I used was created by ~s31415 , well worth checking out his gallery!

Amazing work! I love the colours - how teal mixes with grey, black and white. I can stare at this for 5 minutes straight thanks to the vast amount of details. Well done!
