Something different once again.

I had this idea (certainly not entirely original with me) of speculating that the human race went extinct, and then from mice eventually evolved small, intelligent, humanoid creatures to take our place in a few million years. (I'm really not into anthropomorphic animals, but I am fascinated by the fantasy of intelligent beings much smaller than ourselves having to cope with all the dangers of our world.)

So this is Microanthropomys sapiens! Call them the Mysfolk for short, I guess. As depicted, they've currently reached a medieval level of culture and technology. They build castles of stone -- some towering as high as 10 feet -- and have to fight against snake-dragons, the ferocious wild cats that stalk the land, predatory birds, etc.

Here a warrior of some sort is escorting a princess.

Once again, for part of this I made use of the morphing techology over at the "Morph Thing" website. [link] To get rodenty but still humanoid faces, I morphed human faces with the face of a hamster.

The warrior bears some resemblence to me, since I used a photo of myself to help build him. (Sadly, this half-rodent creature came out better looking than me.)
