Ooh, buttons!
I just love the look, smell and feel of old panels of switches (like in old aircraft, for example). The styling is so different from modern LEDs and plastic panels, it's really a walk down memory lane.

I know, there is just something about old fashion controls. They almost seem more natural or organic than all the digital stuff we see today. Thanks for the comment.

I think part of it is that the materials that were used in the past have some substance, some weight to them. Newer controls, switches, etc. seem very lightweight, almost flimsy at times.

I was thinking the same thing. How this plane from the 40's seem SO old when it comes to technology's timeline - but its really not THAT old. Thank you for the comment MYvonne.
