I think you should fotoshop out those two pushy cue jumping chairs... the back ones are far more interesting... Hey add a ghetto balster and call the shot "Musical Chairs"!

Been studying the photograph as is, and to be honest - my gut reaction is that I like the chairs up in the corner. For me, it gives a sense of depth, and a hint of 'the rest of the story'. A cluster of chairs up top... but for some reason, these two are set aside on their own. I like the scenerio it creates in my mind... and I don't think I'd feel that if the other chairs were cropped out. But that's the beauty of everyone sharing opions! You get to look and study, figure out what other people see, and have them do the same for you.

Love the shiny tile with the organic feel juxtaposed with the shiny chairs without it. I can't decide if this evokes a feeling of loneliness, because the chairs are empty, or a feeling of peaceful waiting. I think the second. Yes, the second. Very nice.

Yes... there have been a couple of times where I've gotten critiqued and I just thought "Hmm, no... I just like it as it is." It's all in what you like. So I say, just leave it. It's a wonderful photo as is.

Great composition!! I think if you could have framed this in a way that the chairs in the background weren't there it would have had more impact.

Your're probably right. I struggled with whether to make those background chairs disappear or not, and in the end just kept them. Two chairs in the upper left hand corner and two chairs in the foreground gives its some type of symmetry I felt. Who knows....I could be off my rocker too! lol
