All the boys are! The girls are usually just darker colors than Morrowan girls. Also, Kai and his sisters are technically half-Gojian.

Andre's his half brother, and is actually entirely Morrowan. You'll get to see how that all worked out soon.

hold on a sec, so I'm going out on a whim here and this probably isn't true, and the timeline probably doesn't match, but if Andre is Kai's half-brother, I'm guessing that KaisΒ (or Andre's) mother was killed by mayyyybeΒ kai's-uncle-we-dont-know-about? Β

This is spoilers, but I don't know if I'll ever get back to this story so you can have 'em.
Kendra (mom) & Andre's dad lived in the city, where you're supposed to sign over any boys born to your household to the military.
When Andre was born, they didn't, and somebody ratted them out. Andre's dad got killed in the struggle and his mom was left for dead in the desert with hardly any memory of her past life.
Kai's dad found her and they eventually got married.
Kendra doesn't remember Andre until her mind is jogged by a hawk raid on Goji Forest, in which Kai gets taken.

I was amazed at the detail and shading in this one! I feel like it is a leap ahead of the previous pages. Maybe there were just more shaded/detailed things in it, but it looks different.
The first panel is absolutely beautiful, the fire and the shading is perfect and the metal on his greaves has realistic reflections.
It is a little confusing as to how he is programming a stone... doesn't it work on magic? or does it have a flip out usb port?
The one thing that bothered me in this was Kai's hand seeming to fit right into the story he is telling. It seems like there should be a blur around it or a shiny aura to differentiate him from the story he is telling.
