Thought the episode of Sonic Boom with these two was very cute.I like any Sonic pairing and again, like this paring as well, but I'm pretty much neutral with any Sonic pairing, I don't have a favourite.

I have to say yes and no, there are times were the Sonic Boom TV series would have good episodes which usually are ones based around morals such as the one that had Tails and Zooey (which is called Tails' Crush, if you want to watch that episode), the episode pretty much talks about girlfriend / boyfriend relationships, people usually like them for the way they are and if they suddenly became a different person and not themselves then the other person will show no interest but concerns plus it's the sign that the person who's trying to be different is trying too hard. There was also another episode before Tails' Crush that talks about the boy band / boy singer fandom, believe it or not they actually made a character named Justin Beaver (which you probably figured out who it's based on). But that episode talks about fandoms and how they're popular for a certain amount of time and eventually they just forget about them. I find the episodes about morals actually give more of an impact to the viewers then the ones that don't have any.
And then there's ones I just didn't enjoy at all, probably because of how boring the storyline was, like there was a jam or jelly one earlier in the series and I got bored of it after a few minutes because nothing interesting happened, I didn't even finish the episode. But the show was meant for kids so I'm sure the kids would enjoy watching the show. I'm just looking at it as an adult perspective.
The Sonic Boom games I heard were pretty terrible, especially with the storyline and the gameplay department but I heard the main reason why some people pay attention to the series is because of the show. In fact, they say this is the first time were the show is actually popular than the game series itself and that's pretty impressive for a show.

Oh my gosh, wow, the creators of Sonic Boom must have been running out of ideas and getting ideas from other shows, but then again, a lot of people make jokes that Justin is a Beaver (happen to be one of them as well lol).
I'm surprised too, it's probably because how big and supportive Sonic's fan base is, doesn't matter if the comics or the shows are good or bad, they're still supporting their favourite hero. However, there are fans out there that could attack people who gave Sonic bad reviews because they're bashing their favourite hero, there's actually a lot of those in the fan base and sadly because of those people, the fans that respect peoples' opinions are also painted with the same brush.
Also, I heard not many people are into the Sonic comics because it's non-canon (not official according to Sega) plus the stories weren't that great. The only ones that people seem to pay attention to is the crossovers such as World's Unite were all Sega and Capcom characters work together to save all of their worlds, the story would have been great if it was explored more unfortunately the ending was completely rushed but it was still awesome to see your favourite characters in a comic book arc but it was a mess.

Personal opinion, I thought it was okay, they made some references to some of the old Sonic games later on in the series such as the Sonic Adventure series which to a lot of Sonic fans, it was probably the better part of Sonic X. The English dub was okay (however there was some annoying characters that take time to get use to) but I recommend watching the Japanese sub because 4kids got rid of some scenes either because it was violent or there was a death scene plus they explain things more in the Japanese version.
