This term has been used a lot lately... to describe the underhanded self portraits of many "emos" and myspace magnates... this is a view of this type of people from the outside. isolated, but connected to "them". emo is a means to a solution to problems. emos have problems just like "us" they just deal with them differently.Related content

I like the isolated feel I got from looking at the picture...It's hard to explain but I feel as if they're in the world around them, but seperated somehow.
That probably sounded idiotic, but oh well.

I always thought emo was a genre of music and a lot like punk, the followers dressed appropriately.
Thereβs good detail throughout the print and aesthetically I like the use of a wide to bring forth a sort of holistic feel to the portrait.

i think emo in its original and purist form was in relation to the 70's or 80's music movement "emotional hardcore" which has long since died out... what the word though has come to mean is lost in translation.. it doesn't really have any one meaning I don't think. Thanks for my first technical comment for quite a while.
