Pink is my favourite colour, but I do agree that stereo typing with colour is naft!
Originally, blue was meant for girls and pink for boys.

It's only through a mistake by the Royals on an assumption of the gender of a baby that the colours then switched over.
Fashion trend took a turn for the worst as people came to then assume and cement their opinions on which colour belongs where.

In short; it's ridiculous.

Well, my friend HATES pink, purple and other "girly" colours.
Basically I show my raspberry pink watch and she backs away
I'm not very feminine myself, and the watch was a gift, but she's scared of these colours too!

Well said! One time in a department store i was shopping for a school bag then this shop attendant approached me with a pink frilly bag saying "For girls, this one is the best! We even have pinker options if you like! ^^" I turned away thinking ! Hello just because I'm a girl does NOT mean I want a pink schoolbag! =_=

When I moved here when I was six, I saw that my aunt had decorated my room pink. For the first two years I liked it, then after that I began to hate it and was all, "Why pink?! Isn't there any other color?"
My aunt said, "You're a girl so I chose pink."

I like pink and I think it's a good color, but it's such a shame people in general can't see it another way.
