Oh hey, I uploaded something~I actually drew this about a month ago, and it sort of unintentionally turned out to be a redone version of another thing I drew about three years ago (which might actually still be in my gallery somewhere, but it's fugly and embarrassing, so I don't recommend looking for it).
So yeah, this is Ziggy and his adopted daughter MOMO from Xenosaga. I've actually been drawing a lot of Xeno-stuff lately (okay, pretty much nonstop since 2006), but I've tried to refrain from uploading all of it because I didn't want to spam and/or totally alienate my watch list with my weird obsessiveness. But I think I'm at the point where I'm not too concerned with what people think about me anyway. I get obsessed with things, and I draw them incessantly. It's what I do. *shrug*
Anyway, I mainly wanted to post this on dA because I'm happy with it, despite (or perhaps because of) the weird blending effects I got from messing around with it in Photoshop.
Also, there is the slight remote possibility that I might have posted more of this sort of thing here , in case I haven't succeeded in totally alienating you yet. D: Just saying.
Xenosaga belongs to Monolith/Namco/Bandai etc., etc..

Also, I thought of this, before I go and advertise you, do you think you can get other commissions done the same time the three I gave you are done? I didn't wanna overload you from the outset.

Ah, thank you for considering that! What I think I'll probably do is finish your commissions first, and then if I get any others I'll start on them in whatever order I get them. It might depend on my work schedule in the next few weeks, but I don't think it'll be too overwhelming once I'm out of school. :3

Wow, the colors look amazing, and it's in your new pointy style. I really like it personally, though it seems a little unlike your earlier works in appearance.
I wouldn't worry about being self-concious, you already do great work, and it's nice to see fanworks you're passionate about. I still have to move myself to make some of my own. But it looks awesome.

Thank you! :3 Yes, my drawing style is quite a bit different these days. (I borrowed a lot of it from =-ek- , actually. <3 ) I guess the jump is pretty noticeable since I haven't been posting a lot of my sketches or anything lately, but it sort of developed like that progressively over the last two or three years.
Awww, thanks. :> The stuff I'm passionate about seems to inspire my best work most of the time, even if it's just Xenosaga fanart. I used to get really uptight about letting people find out just how obsessive I am about certain things, but I think I just have to accept it as a part of my personality, at least for now. I'd love to see some of your fanworks if you get around to drawing any! Hehe, I think a Xenosaga drawing in your style would be awesome. XD

I like Ziggy's look, he look so reliable and full of determination, while MOMO look so calm, like uhm, she knew she'll be fine and stuff x3

The pen tool is a lot of fun. :3 Ever since I figured out how to use it, I've been doing most of my coloring with it. (I think I'm addicted. XD ) It makes it a lot easier to fill in large areas with a solid color, but of course there's still shading and stuff.
