Description
Ffff, I don't know.Have you ever tried to make a male character look respectable or even badass while in chibi form in a wedding dress? An easy feat, it is not.

his(?) fingers look like butter-knives. Interestingly the foreshortened hand looks better.
he(?) has a lazy eye

Tis a male man you are looking at.
I always draw fingers like that when in that pose. XD
I noticed. I wanted to change his eyes at some point; unfortunately, said some point was after I inked and colored it already.
I considered sandpapering the eyes off and starting over, but stopped caring before I could (would sandpapering the eyes have worked, anyway? I remember it worked on those Pokemon cards you messed with.

Cards tend to be much thicker then cardboard. So I doubt it. You could probably fix it in photoshop.
Do you do any light drawing/planning with the drawings?

Sort of. I just get an image in my head, and if I like it enough, I draw it. Some of the coloring is preplanned, and some of it comes by as I go along. Ditto lighting, unless there is a specific spot it has to come from (like that digitally-colored image of Henry I recently posted.)

I was more referring mroe to physical planning then whatever is in your head (that one is safely assumed.)
I think you should try some of the say, circle drawings for proportions and such. Don't need to be over-elaborate just think it would help.

Sometimes I do that. Only if it's for something I don't feel very confident in completing right away though. Or if it's gonna be a huge image, and I want to see whether or not it would look good without having to erase tons of pencil lines on the bigger piece because I didn't like how it turned out.
Other than that, I work with what I have in my head, and make the rest up as I go along.

still should consider doing it a few times. Since your proportions still tend to be wonky form time to time.
And with larger works people tend to go the thumbnail route, because the mind isn't exactly reliable.
Hell, that can be the case with your eyes. What you see and what you think you see can be two completely different things

Grr, I didn't see this at first.;3;
He looks, uh, femininely masculine I'd say. Adorable tiara and wedding dress by the way~ The expression is also terribly cute-I mean burly.
