I'm in two minds! Originally i'd planned to add loads of splashes and drips on the left hand side of the canvas but once i'd got this far i kinda liked it the way it was... still not sure tho. i'll repost if i do alter it. Any input would be greatly appreciated
P.s. pocadots are a killer!!! but at the same time really enjoyed doing this painting

I really like this. The downward angle is very interesting. I think the emptiness actually adds to the feel of the painting - especially considering we can't see the figure's face - it creates literal feeling of emptiness (in that the figure is longing for something). Maybe I'm not explaining myself well, but I like it!

the shading on the skin looks great, the size of dots placement and all that is bloody well done

cheers! think i'm starting to get the hang of skin tone, stencils came in handy for the placement of the dots

made a stencil that i then used to mark out the dots. wouldn't want to do it again in a hurry, was a wee bit tricky
