Most Pokemon have different evolution methods. A lot of them usually depend on leveling up on a certain level, some with an evolution stone, some with a very bizarre method (take the Hisuian Qwilfish for example) and there's Pokemon that evolve only from trading.

Then again, giving it an Everstone would be no problem... OK, Maybe it is if you're playing Diamond or Pearl or Platinum, that is.
