Why do people put a second bandaid on top of the first, in a cross pattern?
Doesn't make sense...is it fashionable to do so?

If your bone is moving like a broken off piece of metal, I don't think two bandaid is going to help

Oops, wrong words!
No, I've meant places like the shoulder or the neck, which are moved pretty frequently and are movable in nearly every direction. The bandaid won't fall off that easily or will maintain to keep pressure on the wound when crossed another one.
