At the Mamajev Kurgan ww2 monument in Volgograd, Russa. Soldiers marching in a dome, walls covered by bronce or copper that reflect the flame burning in the middle of the dome - hence the dramatic effect.Related content

Thanks! The photo is taken in a memorial in Volgograd. In fact I am visiting Russia now, in Moscow, and it is a fascinating country. Enormous difference from Moscow to other parts of the country as Volgograd. The colors comes from a flame in the middle of the dome being reflected by the copper plated wall... The wall has the names of all the officers that was killed during the 200 day battle during WW2.

Have had two trip now to Moscow last month... Absolutely an interesting city. Large contrast between becomming a european metropol mixed with its history. Might put some pictures here soon
