If you haven't heard already, GenGen (General) has been disabled from public FH maps (Fluorite, Lagfire, etc.) and is only available in private maps.
Movie and Infamous 24 hour-RP days have been added to the schedule, which are most common during holidays, along with other events.
LOTS of wonderful meshes, maps, videos, and add-ons.
Development of tons of unique RPs.
That's 'bout it, or what I can pick off the top of my head. I'm sure there's plenty more, but I can't say I check the forums as often as I should. xD
