Description
This was something I did a little while ago and then forgot about, the art and design is still decent so why not show it? Anyways my take on the Swap AU that has been done many times before and isn't original is that Sonic and Shadow switch lives, but they don't switch places. As in, Shadow wasn't an experiment (Had to get rid of traces of Black Arms which was only his red and black colour scheme) but he didn't necessarily choose to try and save the world in the same way as Sonic did (doing whatever he wants basically without any attention to the law), and chose to become apart of G.U.N. Not sure who the villain for this swap au is yet since I do wanna swap the other characters for it so I don't know exactly who he is facing.

Anyways for Sonic I switched the Black Arms and Dark Gaia so the Black Arms is inside the planet being some sort of parasite and Dark Gaia has the alien army in form of the many monsters that come up at night in unleashed. I like making Sonic and Shadow's connection to the things that have messed with their DNA so in "Shadow Unleashed" Shadow would be some sort of vampire looking creature akin to some of the Black Arms aliens. Sonic does have the friend die backstory (Maria and Elise getting switched) and I feel as if it would affect him and make him darker, having more of the ferocious tendencies seen in any of his dark forms. When he takes the rings off he just goes into unleashed mode with the glowy blue aura. If he had a Shadow the Hedgehog-like game where he used weapons he would use melee weapons such as blades and I imagine him being able to conjure up some sort of chain (wanted his abilities to be like the werehogs without being the werehogs directly). He would be the lone wolf type and much more of a loose canon than Shadow since he wouldn't decide to join G.U.N like Shadow eventually did.

Regardless was just looking through my files and found this so I'm not specifically ready to get back into it, but I may as well reveal my thoughts about it.
