Description
Commission for ~pukiris of her cats Toeter and VeegjeDrawn on A3 thick paper mostly in Prismacolor pencils and a touch of Derwent.
No ref for pose/anatomy. Only used a few photos of the animals for their colour and patterns.
Since I don't have a scanner this is a photo of it. Looks better in person
Interestingly enough, when seen from an angle (bottom left) they seem to pop out of the paper, in a "fake 3D" effect (not on purpose
Guess it's the angle I was sitting in when drawing it

I have the feeling you're able to speak dutch (Is it true?)

Nope, not at all
I have Lion King in Dutch though, and can understand it partly due to having an interesting amount of words in common (I was surprised by it, didn't expect )
It sounds like a fun mix between a Norwegian dialect and German!

They are actual cats belonging to the commissioner
I haven't read those books, but got the first one as a gift. I plan to read them after I've gotten further on my own story about cats, to make sure it can't be inspired =^_^=

It was drawn without reference actually
I only had a few photos to see what their pattern was. Didn't use any ref for the poses =^_^=
