Description
A picture I'm using to vent a little. I just needed to make something calm to relax my nerves.Already a week into the holidays, and I'm already feeling stressed without having even done any homework. I feel as if I'm irritable, socially-inept, neurotic, tense, nervous and I'm worrying too much about everything, even the most trivial things. I've been almost entirely unable to concentrate on my Garry's Mod work and I feel as if my quality has been diminishing drastically. Furthermore, I feel as if my grip on reality is slipping due to the sheer amount of RPing I'm doing, and I haven't really moved from this chair in a week so I don't think my body's inactivity is really helping.
I've had many of my friends on dA and Steam tell me to just relax, I've had my parents inform me that I'm not responsible for anyone else's happiness except my own, and I've had RL friends point out my irritability and (supposed) anger issues. And I admit, only now am I starting to get it. Because I might be smart, but I'm not fast-thinking and it may take me a few tries to get something into my brain.
I had thoughts of making a humerous comic, or a serious picture of me looking neurotic, but I felt as if this picture was the most appropriate idea. Me, sitting on a ledge, with SchrΓΆdinger in my hands, in a moment of calm.
So, what do you guys do to relax? Because aside from deep breaths, TF2 and Garry's Mod, I haven't got anything.
Anyway, if you managed to read that all, I'm impressed. Let me know what you think of the picture

Nice picture. Is Schrodinger a name from a scientist or something around those lines?
Also, I usually play some Kirby (Epic Yarn is surprisingly soothing) or watch some Nostalgia Critc.

Erwin Shrodinger is (or was, too lazy to check if he's still alive) a very important quantum physisist.

Wile it's true you're not responsible for anyone's happiness but your own, that still doesn't make it any easier when you can tell your friends are not happy.

Kick back, toss off your shoes, jump into your nightwear and watch some good ole youtube vids, fails, epic wins and others of the like for a good laugh always works for me.

Go see a movie. Movie's help me relax. A good screen, some nice buttered pocorn, a large, cold drink. That always let's me relax.
You could read a nice book. Perhaps work out some, if you need some sort of physical relaxation. Taking a walk isn't a bad way to wind down, either.
Just do something new. You'll find you'll be refreshed and ready to return to the norm in no time.

Fortunately I'm going to see Skyfall later today, so that's the movie idea down. Getting stuck into a book sounds like a good plan too, but unfortunately Melbourne is in summer so I have to wait for cool changes to get moving any.
Thanks for the advice, man, I really do appreciate it.

I know how ya feel. ^^ Between work, finals, and fostering two kittens, I get stressed from time to time. What helps me relax during those times, is listening to music, reading a book in a quiet room, or even going outside for a walk. Lately though working on how to 3D modelling in Blender has been helping me from loosing it! XD Of course, these might not sound appealing to you but I was just giving my two cents since you asked for some suggestions. ^v^
About your pictures though, I don't think the quality in them has lessened at all. Your pictures are wonderful (and not to mention a lot better than mine X3) and I think you will continue to make great GMod pictures.

Reading a book sounds like a great idea, actually. Stretching my legs a little would help too, but I have to wait for cold days before I can go out, as I am heat-intolerant.
And thanks for the view on my image quality; I guess I just make so many images I feel that if I don't try as hard as I can they don't come out well. Oh, and just glancing through your gallery, your work's pretty awesome in of itself. You've got some special effects down that I'm pretty intimidated to try myself. So you, too, keep up the good work
