Contest entry for the 80 points for 80 prompts contest atBoy love. Don't like? Don't look
Series: Kingdom Hearts

Prompt: 25. Reward
Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the characters yada yada
Note: I tried steering clear from the cliche "Omg, I'm liek totally going to steal a kiss bbq as my reward for pummeling you" for this, and wanted to try a tangible, and maybe far less sexy, reward instead. So Seifer is stealing Hayner's necklace instead. Chaos ensues.
Note 2: If you're wondering why the background looks vaguely familiar, it's because it totally should. It's the area right outside the usual place in the game (which was a bitch to color and draw, btw)
Note 3: The title is a line that I lovingly stole borrowed from the song The Tower by Vienna Teng. it makes more sense if you look at the rest of the lyrics (at least to me it does)
Note 4: I feel like sometimes my artist comments are too long, though they're really shorter then what I monologue to myself in my head about what I'm gonna write here.

I'm going to apologize right now if you don't like long comments: I'm sorry. I like this quite a bit, and I want to blah about it.
I am happily stunned you took the time to put in the weird almost dirt, almost brick ground of the backstreets of Twilight Town, and that you added a stucco-y texture to the buildings. The metal in the back looks good, too.
I instantly recognized where this was. I might just be an absolute KH nerd which is quite possible, but I'm going to chalk it up to your care to details in the BG.
Now as for the boys, your coloring on them is amazing. You don't go too dark with the shadows, and you made sure there was a dark cast over Hayner since Seifer is on top of him. Some people wouldn't remember that. :c Creating a shine effect on the necklace was smart, it makes us look at it.
You created a sense of mystery by keeping their faces so neutral. We can't see their mouths and their eyes are closed. I find it fascinating.
Two things: The curve of Seifer's pants is... low. From how it's sloping, I'd expect that his pants are not covering everything. /cough
The shadows at the base and side of the wooden box close to the opening of the Usual Spot look too light. Especially on the side closest to the boys, I think the shadow would be much darker, combined with the shadow of the walls and the corner.

Honestly... The texture on the buildings is nothing more than a photoshop texture overlay effect. All I -really- did was color it then add the texture. But I'm glad you like it and that it turned out well! I can honestly say though that I was worried how metallic the metal came out as, since I just got sick of it after coloring for so long and was like "well, close enough"
I liked coloring the boys. They were by far my favorite part. Then I was like, "oh shiz, background... right"
As for your two things
1-ehh, Seifer always tends to low-ride his pants. but yeah... I ought to fix that... *cough* or just leave it for suggestive sexiness.
2- although I will fix the shadow on that box. thank you for pointing it out! It was the last thing I colored and I was just like "I want this overr!"

Even though he is simply taking a necklace, that is quite a suggestive position ;D. I think Hayner looks so awesome. You did a really good job with his arms and his shirt. Not too bad on perspective to so I also enjoy that~
Now, I am feeling like I should draw some fan art of these two. I donβt believe there is enough.
