Hello and thank you for allowing us to critque you photograph. I'll start with your framing, you have your subject well positioned at the bottom third of the frame. The flowers are well lit. Your chosen depth of field compliments your subject and focuses attention on the flowers. You have good focus and your subject is well lit. Nature has a way of chosing the percect colors in this scene with the little blue flowers and their yellow centers and the grass brings it all together and you have captured the scene nicely. I see some little stones and pebbles around the scene. Maybe a different angle or position might show them better. I think the could add a nice touch to this scene, maybe something as simple as moving grass away but I think their gray could be a beautiful addition to this wonderful scene, just a sugestion. You have done a great job with this picture thanks for sharing it with us.

I know these flowers and they are tiny - its a well composed image, with good colour contrast and excellent depth of field - I think the green has been tweaked slightly to make it more punchy but I like it like that and do the same with my macro images - my only advice would have been to tidy the foreground slightly by removing the yellow leaf you can just see, and maybe a tighter crop along the top edge in order to balance top and bottom borders but otherwise congratulations are in order, especially using a 50mm lens - keep perfecting your technique and patience is the key

Congrats on the new lens! It's a fun one to work with! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

So many photographers focus on the little details that we forget about the big picture. It's refreshing to see the image pulled back and encompassing the group instead of focusing on just a piece of a single flower. The blurred grass in the foreground adds a nice sense of depth to the photo as well.
I love the bright, saturated colors! It brings a cheery springtime feeling to the piece. I got the feeling of 'newness' when I first saw this photo.
Overall, this is a wonderful photo! I can't find anything to hate on, haha.
