Considering how she's all bright and stuff when angry she probably needs them.

this is perf ;o;
i've been needing to get better at lightning and i think this would also be helpfully applied to tree branches, which is another thing i am practicing.

OMG I love your Aggie, but you just solved a major problem I was having on deciding how to complete my Casper (1995) film fanfiction cover, I have it here on DA, but I could not figure out how I was going to do the green clouds in coloring, using my traditional way of painting it with my pensil paints nad paint brushes, or if I was going to somehow copy (do that in the case of mistakes) then use a pastel, but I know those are so rough... I've been exploring the idea of doing this on one of hte free trails of things like Corel, or something, I tried it on my last computer and it was great, but I had no idea and was to new to know how to work it esp. without one of those stylus boards... But now you might have just given me the idea I need to complete the clouds color my OC girls and get the trio looking more transparent along iwth the girls transparency....
SOrry if that's to much of an explanation, but your use with the clouds might just have saved me from my funk.... (My funk was so bad I was recently even thinking of asking a DA if they would be willing to givve me lessons through online on what to do with it, or hire a DA to color it for me since I has such a funk and had no time to try numerous things...) YOu totally saved me from doing tha... THough I'm still thinking of asking a DA for possible pictures with my story, not counting the few I've started alreadY... I don't know If that's set either...
Thanks so much your awesome, and this art is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey background stop being boring. lol
Tell that to most of my backgrounds... but they don't listen. :<
Love the tutorial and how you showed stages of your work. And you managed to explain everything in a very simple way that is easy to follow.

I see you picked an orange colour, but I don't really see any of that in the picture. Did you end up not using it, or did you blend it in very well?

Btw, that picture should be a DD it's awesome! <3

Stormful In reply to FoolishLittleMortal [2012-10-11 02:45:44 +0000 UTC]

dude thanks that means a lot ;_; this is my first tutorial I've completed and submitted; I've made countless before but they sit lost in my hardrive because I'm too embarrassed to share them...

Yeah I picked the orange just because I like the mix of yellow and orange, but I ended up barely using it... the picture just kind of stuck strictly to a green and yellow mix (as the character does) but it was used SOMEWHERE in the face... gah I don't even know

man I wish because this is one of my few submissions I keep looking back on and liking ;__; I've never gotten a DD before skdjfh

That is a pretty damn pro process - kudos. :3c
I wonder why didn't you work inverted and occasionally check, since that might have been easier than the other way around..?

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

Stormful In reply to umbbe [2012-10-11 02:41:12 +0000 UTC]

because she's supposed to have inverted shading and lighting... it's so weird but like I wanted to work more on the yellows before I flipped it to the blue/purple. /shrug it was a weirrrddd process... and I've never done it before haha

but ahhh it's def not pro what are you talking about it was like cheap and easy u_u

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

umbbe In reply to Stormful [2012-10-11 09:17:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah but if you worked in blue to begin with, you wouldnt have to derp with the invertedness... Maybe thats what you did.

and shh proness get
