I love the kind of wings you drew on this pic <3 I feel like they're a perfect mix of cartoon-ish and realistic bird wings XD I can only draw MLP canon style mostly, so I'm always doing crappy random weird styles every now and then, but it never looks like I wanted it to :')

XD thank you, i was trying to find a balance between the two. lemme tell you though i actually kinda envy your ability to draw in show style?? like,, i can't for the life of me get it down and your art is just so cute!! i know i'm not the most active watcher but i really do love all the stuff you put out <3
and the style experimentation, goodness - just take a look at my gallery and you'll see i suffer from the same thing ;-; i hold down one style for a few months and zooom - off to the next one

I think when I entered the mlp community I kinda felt the urge to draw exately like the show style. I felt like a different style would be unloyal to the show itself. Now all I wanna do is get a new style. I won't abandon show style of course, cause it's the only thing I'm comfortable drawing, but I wanna have my own style too.Β

I get where you're coming from on that point -Β I remember feeling something similar when I first entered that fandom too - but I kicked it before I started drawing digitally and got a deviantart. Finding a new style can be a difficult but fun experience, and it's kinda exhilarating when you finally do - really inspiring too. Might explain my random burst of activity on here. I hope you get the chance to experiment a bit more with your style though!! It's really freeing !
