I've seen a lot of canine pics with pretty interesting expressions and moments proper of a dog's life, so to speak... but so far this look quite natural than any other, and with a great pose that no matter the complexity of it, has been well portrayed here...
No matter the color techniques, to my eyes it looks like a nice mixture that intensificate it realism on the face, specially on the eyes... so detailed and full of life e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="26" height="17" alt="
" title="Love"/>
The tongue position and the saliva is not only funny but amazingly emulated =3
The coloring work well on the fur and all over him, enhancing the live feeling... Still, it has that unique feeling of fiction inside, something hard to explain... but it's something great for me =3
Awesome pic =3

You're welcome =3 It did came out well, it's enjoyable to see it...
You did well on fully render it then of the sketch ^^!
Background is good enough to complement, but the attention stays in Gambit for sure, really.

Thank you very much for taking the time to critique ^_^ I'm glad to hear the post came across well, I had doodled it in my sketchbook and realized it was perfect for this dog's portrait. I was afraid the background might be a little distracting, I was aiming for blue linoleum but the marker did not blend the way I had planned.

My dog sleeps like that... I tried tapping him legs together, he just got pissed at me.
