SPOILERS FOR FNAF: SECURITY BREACH!
Alright…..I have several questions.
Now, I would like to say, this game has beautiful graphics, amazing voice acting, and interesting models, but the story……sucks. The endings really aren’t that satisfying no matter which one you get. And then there’s this ending. So, I don’t know how you get this ending, but I know you can’t die once throughout your playthrough if you want to get it. So, basically if you get this ending, you find out that the Pizzaplex Mall is built on top of the Fnaf 6 location, which I was actually surprised by. That was interesting…….then Springtrap appears.
You go through this small five minute level of burning him a couple times, but he’s the least of your worries, because Chica and Roxy are constantly on your ass. Then, when you eventually burn him enough times, Molten Freddy appears (which turns out to the thing with the tentacles) and drags Springtrap away.
Sigh…..Ok, what the hell was the point in bringing him back, if he’s going to just be killed five seconds later? I’m serious, this is the only time you see him in the entire game. Glitchtrap does not appear except for the Princess Quest minigames and a cameo drawing on a wall, but never actually appears in-game. And Vanny herself, who was hyped up to be the big bad threat, barely appears or does anything throughout the game. Even as Vanessa, she does nothing. Yes, they are the same person. It’s revealed in two of the endings, but they made it extremely obvious the entire game. I personally felt that story-wise when it came to hinting at the lore, Steel Wool was either trying way too hard or not hard enough. And when you get this ending specifically, it’s never explained how Vanny did this or if she was even a part of this at all. Heck, you don’t even know what happens to her when Springtrap is “killed.” Did she die? Did she run? Did she break free from being under control? The game doesn’t tell you. It’s kind of like they forgot about her.
This could have been executed so much better and could have been very interesting, but instead, you are given an ending that makes zero sense, but is also pointless.
But I drew this scene anyway because like I said, it had the potential to be good. This is just my opinion. The game is good, but not the story. If you disagree, that’s okay.
Either way, here’s a picture in which I used WAY to much overlay. (Sorry)
Here’s the song this picture was inspired by.
