"As the golden grilles of the lift slide apart, a long purple-carpeted corridor is visible with gleaming wooden doors going fully down the corridor on each side. Each wooden door bears a small bronze plaque with the owner's name and occupation upon it. The long corridors throughout the floor were oddly silent as if the Muffliatio charm had been cast over the whole floor.

Nearly three quarters of the way through the single corridor, there are two corridors opposite each other that branch off at a ninety degree angle each. To the right is a short corridor which emerges into a wide open space empty except a few vacant, polished desks which sit outside of two large shining mahogany doors which face the open space. On the door, there are two plaques which state a name and his/her position in the Ministry of Magic: Junior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic.

The corridor to the left is also short, which emerges into a wide open space as well. In this open space, there are rows of highly polished desks and chairs which there are many witches and wizards that sit making pamphlets to distribute to the Wizarding population. Overlooking the many rows of desks are two large highly polished mahogany doors which opens up to reveal the office of the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic.

Continuing straight down the main corridor, one would emerge into a larger area than the two before, with a set of larger and shinier mahogany double-doors. Without a doubt, this is the entrance to office of the Minister of Magic himself, as stated on the two plaques on the door. Outside of the office are many various items to add aesthetic qualities to the room. Just to the right of the doors is a single desk, where the secretary to the Minister sits, helping the Minister of Magic with daily trivial things, such as dealing with an annoyed witch to making appointments for the Minister to talk with the Muggle Prime Minister."
