Just like every one else I am a big fan of Jack Sparrow, but I gotta say catain Barbossa is one of my fav characters. And seems to act like the tough guy insane to Sparrows quirky insane, so I wanted to do him up propa like
What turned me onto the idea of doing a pirates pic was that is running a pirates of the caribean jam so I am getting in on that isht

Yes yes Barbossa does indeed ruel. I am glad I have found a hell of alot of other people who think that barbossa is cool too, cause you don't hear nearly enough about him cause us bossa fans are always over shadowed by the jack fans

Really, really awesome lineart and coloring style; it's very character- and mood-appropriate. Not to mention that Barbossa is made of awesome! I'm sure he's happy to have that big an apple XD I thought it was a mug of somethingcaffeinated at first.

The monkey kind of looks like Gibbs to me, for some odd reason, hehe. Maybe it's the muttonchops. I like it very much; there's just too few good Barbossa pics out there.

There aren't many Barbossa fans out there, and it's hard to find decent pictures of him. Sadly.
Though this is definatly my favorite, by far. I think you captured his character just wonderfuly.

pffft I have no idea the drawing and inking took a couple o hours and the colour.....I dunno I tend to colour in sessions so it is a bit of time here and there so I have no idea
