Wow, you do an incredible Mignola impression.
There's something about the flare at the end of the sword that's very true to his style, it's random but it also looks 'right' somehow.

If it does look like that, the rightness, it is because I am biting that off Mignola too. That to me is the hallmark of what he does. Just enough detail where it needs to be, the right amount of areas without high detail always feels right to me. Even his bubble placement really conveys that "rightness". So if I caught any part of that then I am overjoyed to hear it

It takes flair to do, his style looks effortless but it's just because he understands composition inside-out. I'm impressed, you may be copying his style here but it takes skill and a good eye to wield it well.

hahaha that reminds me of a story about a designer who's name I can't pull right now who did a logo for a company (nike i think) by walking in and drawing 1 line (the swoosh) and telling them that was their logo. When they said "are you serious, we just paid you 10,000 dollars for 1 line." he responded "no, you paid me 1 dollar for that line and the rest for the 9,999 lines I drew before this one." It really is an example of how something simple and effortless looking really is the product of someone who knows what they are doing, and Mignola is definitely one of those

No worries, I may have even drawn it properly then did a horizontal flip to check that I hadn't made any huge mistakes, then liked it that way and just kept it in that direction. But it is most likely I was just not paying attention to that detail so I will concede and tip my hat I have been out he'll boyd!

It's all 1 big long on going story so you kinda got to read it in order but you can actually buy the graphic navel online! It funny as hll and very popular on here! the charcter Ritchard is everyones favorite!

Yeah thats why I ahven't dug deeply into it yet. If it was just a bunch of one offs I could check out a couple of strips and get an idea of it but as it is a arching story I need to set aside some time to get a good look through it lest I do the story an injustice.

Well, do like i did i'd read like 10 pages aday till i caught up to the most current page! the 1st 30+ pages wee written as kinda a loose contenuity before they decided it needed an ongoing deep story just with humor peppered in!
