“Deduce, John. I don’t GUESS. And I hadn’t even gotten to the part about the curry yet.”
“Hmph.”
“Besides…I haven’t taken more than three moves to win a chess game in years. John, why are you putting the board away? I though we were going to play! John? John!”
A sketch bunny that turned into a doodle that then got scanned and became a slightly cleaner digital doodle that then got some quick and dirty shading over my lunch break and I will probably do a bit more with later, like maybe scrap this shading entirely and throw in some color.

I imagine this is like...a Tuesday at 221 B. I mean, like, most Tuesdays. Tuesday IS a rather boring day, isn't it? And not particularly crime-heavy. Who commits a crime at the beginning of the week? So I imagine Sherlock bored enough to propose chess, forgetting that he can totally win against Watson while doing 12 other things and then forget it was his idea in the first place.
In my mind, then, they give up on chess and cuddle on the couch while John watches TV and Sherlock translates Tunisian for fun.
